The RS-R Exmag GT II was a nice exhaust for the Honda S2000. It flowed better than stock, and only had one muffler which was lighter than stock and deleted the heavy and unncessary dual system. The The RE Amemiya AW-7 were available in Gold, Silver, Red or White; in sizes from 17×7 up to 18×10.5. Less commonly known are the RE Amemiya AW-8 which were smaller in size, and also in 4×100 commonly fitted to the Mazda Miata. The RS Watanabe FORGED Mg are lesser known JDM Wheels from the wheel maker. The RS Watanabe FORGED Mg feature lightweight Magnesium construction and a simple 10 spoke design. The RS Watanabe FORGED Mg were available in silver and gold and in 19×9 and 19×8 wheel sizes. The wheels also have a hefty price tag of about $1200 per wheel 20 years ago which could roughly be $2000 a wheel in today’s economy. Lesco Pulse 1 by Work Wheels are Old School JDM Wheels from the 80’s. The Lesco Pulse 1 features multi piece construction and looked to be offered with Gold faces, or Silver faces with black windows, popular of the time. Pictured on top are the Pulse 1’s on an s130 Nissan Datsun 280zx
Yokohama ADVAN RACING RA3-DT continues the legacy of 3 Spoke JDM Wheels. Pictured are the ADVAN Racing RA3-DT on the R33 GTR tuned by Bee Racing. Specs are F/R: 18×10.0J 5 x 114.3 +19 wrapped in 275/35/18 tires. The ADVAN Racing RA3-DT only cam in 2 sizes, the other being 17×9.5 +19 and only specified for use on R32 / R33 GTR only.
The Veilside Supra was a game changer, it spawned a whole body kit movement in the late 90’s. I remember one of my friends had the veilside bumper on his 96 civic coupe, and another on his 95 prelude, and a few years later on the hero car in the prolific car movie, The Fast and the Furious. At the time, the styling was revolutionary. The Swooping lines, all the vents and that pedestal style wing. Also new, was the JDM Wheels, the Veilside Andrew Racing V Wheels. The Veilside Andrew Racing V feature a thick 5 spoke design with a unique center cap covering the lug nuts. The Veilside Andrew Racing V were manufactured by SSR Wheels and featured 2 piece construction.
