Piaa is probably most known for their aftermarket lighting systems, but they also had a line of JDM Wheels. The PIAA Nakajima Racing RT is a 5 spoke one piece wheel. The PIAA Nakajima Racing RF is similar but with 2 piece construction also with a recessed center. The PIAA Nakajima Racing Type RT and PIAA Nakajima Racing Type RF wwere manufactured in Japan by Enkei Wheels. They were available in Diamond Cut finish, Racing Silver and Racing Buff Finish aka Polished.
The Dunlop Super Xiphos are JDM Wheels that really were not as popular as many others, but definitely had a really cool look to them. The Dunlop Super Xiphos are 3 piece wheels which feature a classic 5 spoke star design with exposed bolts on mounted on top of the lip. Rounded edges of the spoke give the Super Xiphos a unique look from other popular 5 spoke wheels of the time. Pictured in the ad are the Super Xiphos mounted to a Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX Z32 series.
The Hasemi Sport PROT S Type-R are JDM Wheels produced by SSR Wheels aka Speedstar Racing. These Hasemi Wheels feature a classic 6 spoke face with covered lug nuts/ faux centerlock design which was popular in the 90’s. Optional were the red blue center caps which were derived from which side the centerlock nuts go on on real centerlock wheels. Pictures in the ad were the Hasemi Sport Prot S mounted on an Nissan Skyline R32.
The Linea Sport RX are Old School JDM Wheels from the mid 90’s. The Linea Sport RX features a Classic Mesh design with covered lug nuts similar to the style of the BBS RS. The face is mounted behind the lip to give it the classic sandwich mount look format. Pictured is a Lexus LS400 / Toyota Celsior and the car looks classy and perfect.
The Sprint Hart Tuner are classic JDM Wheels that were a big hit in the late 90’s. The Sprint Hart Tuner featured two piece construction with an 8 long spoke face welded to a reverse style barrel for a visually big appearance and lip. Picture in the ad are the Tuners mounted on a JDM 4 door Honda Civic EG.
The Buddy Club P1 Steering Wheel is a JDM steering wheel from the late 90’s. It featured a Faux Carbon Fiber face (Carbon Check Spoke) and an aluminum horn ring with the engrish “Let’s challenge to the limits of power!” engraved. It was available in either a suede or leather finish. Pictured in the Advertisement is the Buddy Club Honda Civic EG Series. The P1 moniker actually stands for Position One.
The Suzuka Sangyo Longchamp XR-4Z Kai are JDM Wheels which carries the 6 spoke tradition from the older and smaller SSR Longchamp XR-4. The updated Longchamp XR-4Z Kai by SSR Wheels are available in larger 16″-17″ sizes and have a more moders style organic face and barrel design. Pictured on the ad are the SSR Longchamp XR-4Z Kai on an R33 Nissan Skyline GT-R.
