The Honda NSX-R / Honda NSX Type R is another JDM Super Car that never made it to US Soil. Although we did get the regular NA1 and NA2 Honda NSX models, the JDM Gods again thought we Americans were not worthy of the uncompromised version. This nice example of a NA1 Honda NSX-R looks to be further lightly modified with a set of BBS LM Wheels with gold faces (which are made in Japan, btw) and a MOMO Tuner Steering Wheel. The BBS RN Wheels and BBS RY Wheels are JDM Wheels made in Japan by BBS Wheels. The BBS RN are double 10 spoke mesh wheels and feature one piece construction. The BBS RY are two piece wheels, and also feature a double 10 spoke mesh design. Most people associate BBS Wheels as being made in Germany, but as a certain point started manufacturing some of their aftermarket wheels in Japan. Also Pictured are Auto-Moda Wheels.
The BBS RG-R and BBS F1 Racing are one piece JDM Wheels from the German wheel manufacturer BBS. The BBS RG-R feature an 8 double spoke mesh design and forged ACQ Construction. The BBS F1 Racing feauture a 10 double spoke mesh design in a special gold colorway with red details, also with ACQ forged construction. The BBS LM are one of the most coveted JDM Wheels of all time. What people don’t realize are that although BBS is a german company, the BBS LM are actually made in Japan.
