The Enkei M5F Aero Bortex are practically like having 5 sets of JDM Wheels in one. The base wheel of the Enkei M5F Aero Bortex has a similar look to the more popular Enkei 92, but with different covering options. From left to right: a flat cap option, a hex cap center lock style option, a dust cap center cap style option, a tinted clear poly-carbonate option, and lastly a full aero turbofan style option.
The MUGEN CR-X PRO Honda CR-X is a great looking interpretation from the guys at MUGEN POWER. The MUGEN CR-X PRO had a full body kit including flared fenders which have the tiny CR-X a muscular look. The wheels predate Mugen branded wheels, but I believe are FORTRAN ASSO JDM Wheels which make sense since Mugen used FORTRAN on the Mugen MR-5.
The 5Zigen N1R DIV.3 were one of the prominent JDM Wheels of the 90’s. More commonly called the 5Zigen DIV3, the 5Zigen N1R DIV.3 were mid range JDM wheels in terms in pricing due to its one piece cast construction. Most commonly, you would see the 5Zigen DIV3 mounted to Honda Civic and Acura Integra, but as pictured fitments were available for Toyota MR2 Sw20, Mazda Miata NA, Nissan 240sx s13, and Nissan Primera. The AME Windmuhle are Old School JDM Wheels that resemble a turbine. The AME Windmuhle, which are higher end version of the Enkei EK90 JDM Wheels, fearure a lightweight one piece construction with covered lug nuts behind a center cap. AME Wheels used feature higher end Enkei Wheels, but are now produced elsewhere. Pictured are the AME Windmuhle mounted on an EA series Honda Civic, and in the background sits a 70s Chevrolet Camaro.
The PIAA Nakajima Racing Type R Limited are JDM Wheels made in Japan by Enkei Wheels. Most noted for their line of premium lighting, PIAA also has a nice line of JDM Wheels. The PIAA Nakajima Racing Type R Limited feature a classic 5 spoke design, and also feature 2 piece construction.
