The Watanabe RS8 / Watanabe RS Eight are JDM Wheels made by SSR Wheels aka Speedstar Racing. The Watanabe RS8 also referred to as the SSR RS8 are 2 piece wheels with a removable face bolted in to an aluminum barrel. As the name implies, the Watanabe RS8 has the classic Watanabe wheels 8 spoke design.
Pictured are the Watanabe RS8 / Watanabe RS Eight on a Mazda Capella Estate, R32 Nissan Skyline and on a Z32 Nissan 300ZX Fairlady.

Racing Service Watanabe is probably one of the first names that comes to mindwhen it comes to Old School JDM Wheels.The most noteable is The Watanabe Type R with its 8 spoke Banana type design and deep dish. The Watanabe GR-8 was is now a historic wheel that inspired the XXR 002. The Watanabe Stellar is a JDM Wheel that I actually have never seen before. For an added price, the 8 spoke models are not only available in aluminum, but also Magnesium Wheels.

Watanabe Falcon Steering Wheel

Watanabe parts are already hard to get… Getting a Watanabe Falcon steering wheel is a lot harder. Try finding somone selling one right now, chances are slim. The wheel comes in two versions; 3 spoke and 4 spoke. One is a Falcon Type I and the other is Falcon Type II, I really don’t know which one is which. The steering wheel features a unique horn with the Watanabe Falcon logo. This is a piece I wish I could add to my collection.
